Help 4 The Homeless Recognised at the SME Awards 2025

Last night, Help 4 The Homeless was honoured to be named as a finalist in two categories at the prestigious SME Awards 2025Community Business of the Year and the Sustainability Award.

Although we didn’t win, being shortlisted is an incredible achievement. It shines a light on the important work we do and raises awareness of the challenges faced by those most in need. This recognition is a massive pat on the back for our trustees, volunteers, and most of all Lloyd and Shoshana Gilmore, who founded the charity and continue to inspire its growth.

Our mission is simple but vital: to provide food, clothing, and essential toiletries to those experiencing homelessness in London. At the same time, we work to reduce waste and support struggling families in Borehamwood by redirecting surplus food from local supermarkets and food outlets to where it is needed most.

Being named a finalist motivates us to keep pushing forward. But to continue our work, we rely on the generosity of our community.
