Mission, Vision and Values

Our Mission

Our charity's mission is to provide assistance to those in need all year round. We want to make sure that everyone has access to basic necessities like food, shelter, and clothing. By doing this, we can help people get back on their feet and start rebuilding their lives. It's not just about providing temporary relief, but about making a lasting impact on our community. Together, we can make a difference and help those who need it most.

We provide a bespoke service and we ask all of the people we meet what they need - and do our best to supply it to them either on the spot or the following week. From a sleeping bag to a warm coat or a pair of shoes.

We aim to support those who are rough sleeping or otherwise homeless in London and the Home Counties and to help them directly by providing a personal delivery of food and drink, clothing, and essential items.

We are strongly committed to relational support and to the wellbeing of our beneficiaries, including mental wellbeing and emotional support as well as practical help, and so our mission is also, wherever possible and through regular support, to get to know our beneficiaries and provide a bespoke service. By doing that, and launching our 2024 Off the Street Project, we aim to help people get back on their feet and start rebuilding their lives.

Where possible and where wanted, we help our beneficiaries to move off the street or out of sofa surfing lifestyles or who are in dilapidated and substandard accommodation, and to move into better accommodation and towards employment and a positive and healthy lifestyle.

We work collaboratively with partners and food and clothing donors, including supermarkets and other suppliers, to ensure that excess food is not wasted and distributed to those most in need.

The formal objective of the Charity as stated within our Constitution and agreed with the Charities Commission is:

For the public benefit, the relief of people in London and the Home Counties who are in need by reason of being homeless, by providing and distributing food, drink and clothing and providing other goods and services to support them.
