Community Partnerships
Our Community
Over the years and especially since the pandemic and achieving charitable status, we have developed a really creative and supportive network of community partners including schools, local councillors, food banks and organisations also caring for the poor and vulnerable and also including health and social care.
By working together collaboratively we can cover off duplication or missed opportunities and help one another be more effective for those that need the response of our communities.
Case Study
When we started the project we found local supermarkets and grocery stores were keen to help. This support meant we could do more and that helped us to ramp up the whole operation. Because our partners got on board so enthusiastically, we had enough food to launch our separate Food Poverty Project. Awesome!
Case Study
“When we launched the Pop Up Shop project we knew that moving, storing and handling large volumes of donated stock would be a real challenge. Thankfully, GTR Removals stepped in and their support has made a huge difference. By providing transport, labour and storage space, they have helped us move and manage donations efficiently, allowing the project to run smoothly. Their willingness to get involved has enabled us to turn surplus donations into much-needed funds to support our work. We are incredibly grateful to GTR Removals for their continued support.”
