What is different about Help4thehomeless London & Home Counties?

1) 10-15 volunteers come to Central London and feed clothe and provide all the needs for 150+ of our friends on the street every single week.

2) Wholesome home cooked food each week 10-15 volunteers on a Thursday afternoon make 150+ meals including jacket potatoes, hot dogs burgers and vegetarian meals. Only this week one of friends on the street told us all week they look forward to our hand out as we serve the best food. This is because we receive from the best donations Costco Marksandspencers Wenzel's Gail’s Bakery and Tesco Aldi UK Sainsbury's

Are we the only handout to provide Wagu burgers to our friends on the street?

3) Every Thursday rain snow and boiling hot weather we go out, we are a constant for people to rely on.

4) Bringing good people to visit good people on the street. Our charity sees everybody as we see ourselves. Understanding is key.

5) Our volunteers choose us for our compassion and friendliness and see what this means to our Trustees and CEO and see how our friends on the street react to us after nearly 9 years of being there for them.

6) Nearly all of donations of money go directly to the people who need it.

7) Spending time to see what our friends on the street need caring and worrying about the small things that mean so much to them .

8. Knowing their needs and providing bespoke handouts having trollies of clothes toiletries food and drink. Essentials needed for that moment, and a change of clothes, and a warm blanket are just a few things we provide.

9) Understanding all their needs not providing what we believe they need. After nearly 9 years we have a full understanding of seasonal needs and we change accordingly it could be within a week. From boiling hot to freezing cold the English weather can be very cruel.

10) Going the extra mile whether just giving to someone on the street who needs or a family of 5 who don't have enough money to provide a weeks food for their family we can help.

But most of all kindness breeds kindness and what religion, faith ethnicity you are kindness is the main thing. In this very harsh climate we strive to make goodness the main reason why we would do anything. Yes charity does begin at home, but your home can show goodness to people who haven't got the luxury of four walls and heating.
