USEFUL INFORMATION FOR THE HOMELESS
VETS ON THE STREETS:
Jade Statt, a qualified Vet for many years, set up Street Vet with her staff of vets and nurses, working with Streets Kitchen and other organisations, are out in the London community at least 4 days a week. They help care for over 200 street dogs (and a few cats!). They vaccinate and microchip; treat for fleas and protect against lungworm; prescribe pain relief and help fight infections; perform surgeries, and sometimes just sit and listen.
They are out in the community at least 4 days a week. They work in London, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Plymouth, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Southampton and expect to expand.
